FOLSOM – Visitors pedaling their way to the Folsom Public Library now have a stylish and secure place to lock up their bicycles, thanks to a new community project sponsored by the Folsom Police Foundation, which funded the construction and installation of new racks.
The Foundation sponsored the construction and installation of the racks outside the library, designed to resemble full-sized bicycles. Painted bright blue and featuring the Folsom Police Foundation’s emblem, the racks offer both functionality and an eye-catching addition to the library’s entrance. Two racks have already been completed as of Wednesday, with two more slated for installation soon.
“The Folsom Police Foundation is proud to support the installation of new bike racks at the Folsom Library,” said Adrian Blanco, President of the Folsom Police Foundation. “This project is one more way we can give back to our community while encouraging healthy and safe access for families and residents.”
The Foundation, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to supporting the men and women of the Folsom Police Department while enhancing public safety for the entire community. Its work extends beyond the scope of the city budget, providing resources for officer wellness programs, specialized training, youth outreach initiatives, and advanced equipment.

Through ongoing fundraising efforts and partnerships, the Foundation strives to strengthen the connection between law enforcement and the public. Its volunteer board is made up of local business leaders, community members, and public safety advocates who share a commitment to making Folsom a safer and more united city.
The installation of the library’s new bike racks reflects that mission in action—blending safety, convenience, and community pride for all who visit one of Folsom’s most valued public spaces.
