Four $2500 scholarships to be awarded to local students pursuing law enforcement careers

The Folsom Police Foundation has officially opened the application period for its 2025 scholarship program, offering up to four $2,500 scholarships to local students who are committed to pursuing a career in law enforcement.

The annual scholarship recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional integrity, professionalism, and a passion for public service. It is specifically aimed at supporting students who plan to enter the law enforcement field and who meet key academic and residency requirements.

To be eligible, applicants must be residents of the City of Folsom and either currently enrolled in a minimum of six college units per semester or accepted into a college or university for the upcoming academic year. In addition, applicants must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.

Completed applications and all supporting documentation must be postmarked by August 1, 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.

The scholarship application consists of a two-page form, which can be requested in PDF or Word format by emailing E@teamscottloans.com. Submissions may be sent electronically to fpfscholarship@gmail.com.

Each year, the Folsom Police Foundation highlights the achievements of past recipients who have gone on to further their education and pursue careers in public safety, often sharing success stories and photos that inspire the next generation of applicants.
