While officers investigated the crash, several residents stopped to voice concerns about unsafe driving along the corridor. In response, Folsom’s motor officers conducted focused speed enforcement in the immediate area, issuing multiple citations.

Police noted that speeding remains one of the leading causes of serious injury collisions. Officials emphasized that driving even slightly faster than the posted limit reduces reaction time, increases stopping distance, and can turn a mistake into a life-changing crash.
