FOLSOM—Members of the Folsom Police Department recently proved that service to the community extends well beyond their daily duties. The officers traveled to Amador County to participate in the annual Top Cop Challenge, a high-energy competition that tests the skills and stamina of law enforcement officers while raising critical funds for veterans and first responders.
The officers not only represented Folsom with pride but also returned home victorious, earning both the individual and team titles. Rather than keep the prize money, they made the decision to direct their winnings to Rally Point Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans and first responders.
While the officers asked to remain unnamed, their generosity and commitment did not go unnoticed. By choosing to support Rally Point Foundation, they have helped ensure that the nonprofit can continue its mission of providing resources, care, and encouragement to those who have served the nation and their communities.
The Rally Point Foundation continues to play a vital role in the region, offering programs and assistance to those who have sacrificed in service. The officers’ contribution adds another chapter to Folsom’s strong tradition of community support.
Their achievement serves as a reminder that behind the badge are individuals deeply dedicated not only to public safety but also to ensuring the well-being of fellow heroes.
