FOLSOM—Authorities are asking for the public’s help after an armed robbery was reported Thursday evening in the Palladio shopping center.

According to the Folsom Police Department, officers responded just after 7:40 p.m. on September 11 to the parking lot of Nordstrom Rack, located at 440 Palladio Parkway. The victim told police they were confronted at gunpoint and had personal property taken during the encounter.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage that showed the suspect arriving in what appeared to be a white early 2000s sedan. The suspect, described as a Black male adult, was seen wearing a red shirt over a black long-sleeve shirt with blue jeans. After the robbery, the suspect fled southbound on Palladio Parkway before turning west onto Iron Point Road at about 7:44 p.m.

Police are continuing their investigation and are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident—or who has information about the suspect or the vehicle—to contact the Folsom Police Department at 916-355-7231.

“This is an active case, and even the smallest detail could be helpful,” officials said in their request for community assistance.
