Jorden Sexton, is a 30-year-old Folsom local, Marine Corps veteran, and active duty servicemember with the Army National Guard. He recently launched Sexton Woodwork, a venture dedicated to creating handcrafted wooden American flags and customizable flags and emblems. With a deep-rooted passion for woodworking cultivated from his early years as a certified Eagle Scout, Jorden has transformed his love for craftsmanship into a thriving business.

What began as a side project in his home garage has blossomed into a full-fledged entrepreneurial endeavor fueled by Jorden’s unwavering dedication to his country and family. Drawing upon his experience as an experienced welder and craftsman, Jorden meticulously handcrafts each flag with precision and pride.

“Every flag is a labor of love,” Sexton said. “I pour my heart and soul into each piece, infusing them with patriotic spirit and reverence for our nation.”

With a mission to reunite with his two children, whom he has been unable to see for three long years due to circumstances beyond his control, Jorden’s woodworking business serves as both a creative outlet and a pathway to a family reunion. Proceeds from Sexton Woodwork contribute to helping the local Veteran with legal assistance and hopefully, bringing him one step closer to fully reuniting with his beloved children.
