In addition to the organized VFW events, the public is also invited to join in the action for what is being called the “unofficial” wounded Veteran run Monday. The event is set to being at 8 am in the parking lot of Vista del Lago High School where those wishing to spend the morning paying homage in the way of fitness are welcome to join.
