FOLSOM — Adrian Blanco’s name has long been tied to generosity in the Folsom community, where his commitment to supporting local law enforcement, first responders, veterans, and charitable causes has become a defining part of his work. Over the weekend, that dedication was recognized statewide as Adrian Blanco Jewelry was honored with the Corporation of the Year award from the California Narcotic Officers Association (CNOA). The award was presented on Saturday during CNOA’s 61st Annual Training Institute Opening Session at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego.
During the ceremony, CNOA highlighted Blanco’s long-standing service and significant philanthropic support. The organization emphasized his far-reaching impact on public safety agencies and nonprofits across the region.
“Adrian Blanco is a lifelong jeweler and passionate community leader,” the presenter said. “Since Mr. Blanco opened his jewelry business, he has donated over $250,000 in monies and jewelry contributions to local causes. His annual contributions now exceed $100,000, with beneficiaries including law enforcement agencies, CNOA, veterans, first responders, military, and nonprofits focusing on homelessness and youth services. He’s active in his community and serves on numerous boards, including president of the Folsom Police Foundation and the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Posse, to name just two. Please join me in recognizing Adrian Blanco Jewelry as CNOA’s Corporation of the Year.”
Blanco was nominated for the statewide honor by Jim Applegate of the El Dorado County District Attorney’s Office.
Following the presentation, Blanco shared with Folsom Times that the recognition reflects his gratitude for those who serve the community every day. “Receiving this award means the world to me. I’m proud to support the brave men and women who protect our communities every day, and I’m grateful to stand alongside them in any way I can.”

The honor marks a significant milestone not only for Blanco but for the broader Folsom community, where his philanthropy has supported countless programs, fundraisers, and public safety initiatives since he opened his shop.
CNOA, founded in 1964, is California’s largest nonprofit training association for law enforcement professionals. With more than 7,000 members representing local, state, and federal peace officers, prosecutors, and national and international associates, the organization provides more than 120,000 annual student-contact hours through specialized regional seminars and statewide training programs.
Beyond training, CNOA tracks state legislation related to narcotic enforcement, supports anti-drug public education efforts through the Narcotic Educational Foundation of America, and administers the Survivors Memorial Fund, which offers immediate financial assistance to the families of California law enforcement officers who lose their lives in the line of duty.
For the association, the Corporation of the Year award is one way to highlight the companies that strengthen law enforcement efforts statewide. For Folsom, it represents significant recognition of a local business owner whose dedication to community support continues to grow year after year.
