Folsom musician John Voelz is slated to perform at Highway 50 Brewery this Sunday afternoon in Camino. Live music begins on the outdoor patio of the venue that is known for “serving beer with a view,” starting at 3 p.m.

Although he has been traveling across the states, Voelz has been a longtime resident of Folsom. The California native also spent a significant portion of his life in the midwest and as a traveling musician. The well-rounded singer-songwriter now performs locally and regionally with a solid performance of acoustic, Americana, Country, Folk, Rock, and Pop songs.

Voelz is known for a variety of his own works as well as those from bands such as The Eagles, Tom Petty, The Beatles, ELO, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, CSN, The Doobie Brothers, CCR, Van Morrison, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Fleetwood Mac, George Harrison, Johnny Cash, The Traveling Wilburys, Marshall Tucker Band, Poco, Pink Floyd, Hall & Oates, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, The Who, James Taylor and more.

There is no cover charge at the venue that is located in the heart of the Apple Hill area at 3544  Carson Road in Camino. The location is just off Highway 50 and they are right next door to Nello Olivo Winery, sharing a great outdoor patio.
