Ticket sales opened Friday for single July 19 Folsom appearance

For those who love the music and style of the late Freddie Mercury and Queen, Harris Center for the Arts has added a special night this summer that will be a must see. Tickets for One Night of Queen, featuring Gary Mull and The Works officially went on sale today for the single July 19 event.

For over 20 years Gary Mullen and The Works have been performing their world-renowned One Night of Queen live concert. According to a press release from the Harris Center for the Arts announcing ticket sales have opened, the show, that features Mullen on vocals, David Brockett on guitar, Malcolm Gentles on keyboards, Jon Halliwell on drums, and Alan McGeoch on bass will have you dancing in the aisles during their show, while the band pays tribute to the stage theatrics, showmanship, and music of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, Queen.

Back in 2000,  Mullen won the Granada television program called “Stars in Their Eyes” with his performance as Mercury, the late lead singer of Queen Mullen’s embodiment of Mercury resulted in him gaining 864,838 votes in the show’s Live Grand Final. The number of fans who voted for Mullen was more than double that of the runner-up at the time, thus setting an all-time record for votes in the history of the program. Since then, Mullen’s act has been popular in non-stop fashion. 

For over two decades, Gary Mullen & The Works have performed to sold-out audiences around the world, playing more than 2,500 live shows to audiences in over 20 countries, performing in many of the same venues where Queen has played. Fans continue to flock to their shows to take in a night of entertainment that one who love classic Queen that is second to none.

Tickets went on sale Friday, May 10 and are expected to sell out fast.  Ticket prices start at $52 and range up to $82. Tickets can be purchased online here. Or by contacting the Harris Center Box Office during its regular hours Tuesday through Friday, 12 PM to 5 PM. In addition, the ticket office is open two hours prior to any performance.
