Shake Shack, Carter’s, Tru Bowl all open just in time for upcoming tree lighting, Santa’s arrival
Folsom, Calif. – The Palladio, Folsom’s premier outdoor shopping center, is set to bring festive cheer to the community this holiday season with an array of events for all ages. The mall recently announced its lineup of holiday activities, with highlights that include a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, jazz performances, and Santa photo opportunities.
The holiday season will kick off at the Palladio with its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 23 from 5 to 6 p.m., inviting families to witness the illumination of the holiday tree and enjoy an evening filled with seasonal joy. Beginning November 24, visitors can take part in the Santa Claus Photo Experience, available daily through Christmas Eve, allowing families to capture special holiday memories. On December 15, the mall will host a Big Band Jazz Christmas Music and Jazz Choir performance from 5 to 7 p.m., adding a nostalgic, festive soundtrack to the season. Wrapping up the celebrations, a Menorah Lighting ceremony will take place on December 25 from 6 to 7 p.m., welcoming the community to share in the spirit of the season.
In addition to the festive events, the Palladio is expanding its shopping and dining options with new tenants, adding nearly 9,000 square feet of space and creating 68 jobs. “Shoppers looking for the complete holiday shopping experience are invited to Palladio’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and outdoor festivities. With the addition of new tenants, the Palladio can satisfy everyone’s Christmas shopping list,” said Gloria Wright, general manager of the Palladio. “The Palladio’s occupancy rate continues to climb, with new tenants to be announced in 2025.”
Among the new arrivals is Shake Shack, opening its 3,699-square-foot fast-casual restaurant on November 20. Originating as a New York hot dog cart, Shake Shack has grown into a popular food chain with over 400 locations worldwide. The restaurant will employ 50 people.
Carter’s will bring its 3,603-square-foot store to the Palladio on November 14, offering children’s apparel from one of the most well-known brands in the industry. Established in 1865, Carter’s is recognized for its focus on clothing for newborns to two-year-olds and will employ nine staff members at this location.
Rounding out the new tenants, Tru Bowl is set to open its 1,631-square-foot “superfood bar” on November 11, featuring a menu of flavorful bases, fresh fruits, and superfood combinations. The restaurant will employ nine people.
