Live music continues this Friday in the Piazza at Folsom’s Palladio. Taking the stage at this week’s outdoor concert venue in the middle of the city’s premier shopping and dining destination will be Have Mercy! as they “heal” the crowd with their sounds.
Have Mercy! was formed in the 90’s when some medical doctors at Mercy Folsom Hospital decided to play music for a Mercy Hospital staff party. From the first note they played together, these rock ‘n’ roll doctors were hooked, and Have Mercy! has been rockin’ ever since. In the beginning, Have Mercy! only played for private Mercy Hospital functions, but you can’t keep music this fun a secret for long. Now, you too can enjoy the infectious music of Have Mercy! According to their own music bio, Have Mercy! prescribes and administers a healing dose of old time rock and roll that is guaranteed to satisfy your very soul.
Friday’s concert is free to attend and starts up at 7:30. The music continues for two entertaining hours, ending at 9:30 and providing plenty of opportunities before and after the show to check out the many great stores, restaurants, destinations and more that the Palladio has to offer. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs to be comfortable and have a great view of the entertainment for the series sponsored by Elliott Homes, AKT Development and Cummings Properties each Friday
