Second annual Coaches Cup tees off May 19 to raise funds for youth baseball—registration closes this Friday May 9
It’s almost time to play ball—but instead of home runs, think hole-in-ones. The second annual Coaches Cup Golf Tournament benefiting Folsom American Little League is fast approaching, and the deadline to register is this Friday, May 9.
The charity tournament returns to Empire Ranch Golf Club on Monday, May 19, offering a fun-filled morning on the fairways to help raise vital funds for the city’s youth baseball program. Organizers are urging supporters to sign up now before the final roster is set.
Proceeds from the tournament go directly toward field maintenance, facility improvements, and offsetting operational costs that help keep league registration fees affordable for local families. Last year’s inaugural event was a big hit, and league leaders are hoping to build on that momentum.
The event is open to the public and welcomes golfers of all skill levels. Check-in begins at 6:45 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. Participants will enjoy a full morning of golf, followed by lunch, awards, and a raffle ceremony starting at 1:30 p.m. On-course contests and a silent auction round out the day’s festivities.

The cost is $150 per golfer and includes greens fees, a golf cart, catered lunch, and full access to all tournament activities. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for individuals and businesses interested in supporting the league and gaining community exposure.
Organizers express that the Coaches Cup is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of the volunteers, families, and players who make Folsom American Little League a cornerstone of local youth sports.
To register or become a sponsor, visit the official registration page here. The May 9 deadline is just days away—so don’t miss your chance to tee up for a great cause and help support the next generation of ballplayers.
