Folsom’s annual Spring Eggstravaganza is reimagined this year as the new Festival of Eggs and they need the help of the community to help with preparations in the days leading up to it.
The Easter weekend event incorporates all of the crowd-favorite elements that is has for years, which includes, thousands of eggs that will need to be stuffed with treats for the youngsters in attendance.
Volunteers are needed to help the staff of Folsom Parks & Recreation stuff some 25,000+ eggs with candy and prize slips from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 5. Bannered as an egg-stuffing party, the event will be presented by Chick-fil-A of Folsom and Pizza Guys of Folsom and will takes place at the Folsom Community Center, 52 Natoma Street.
Volunteers can be individuals, families, neighbors, co-workers, clubs, or service groups; those under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers must register here online in advance.
