Authorities have reportedly arrested the suspect that made threats that prompted Thursday’s evacuation of the State Capitol building and allegedly fired shots at various locations in Placer and Sacramento Counties in recent days.

The suspect, 30-year-old Jackson Pinney, from Hayward, was taken into custody Thursday afternoon in the area of Auburn Folsom Road and Eureka Road according Roseville police reports. 

The suspect reportedly fired shots at various locations in Citrus Heights and Roseville, including a Kaiser hospital building.  On Thursday the California State Capitol after a credible threat was received, which was connected to Kinney.
