Hands4Hope – Youth Making A Difference is hosting its 3rd Annual “Endless Summer Beach Party” benefit event on Saturday, September 23 at the Serrano Village Green Amphitheater in El Dorado Hills from 5 to 9 PM. The event will raise funds for the new program year and celebrate the local nonprofit’s 15 years of inspiring and empowering youth in leadership and service.

Last year, more than 200 guests enjoyed a fun evening with amazing weather, live music, dancing, and delicious food and cold drinks from local breweries and wineries. New for 2023, guests will enjoy a delicious dinner with Polynesian flair from Off The Vine Catering. The Jay Rolerz Band will again provide live musical entertainment.

Brian Veerkamp, community leader and retired Fire Chief, will serve as emcee for the evening, which includes a special presentation from Hands4Hope alumna Haley Lehtola and parent/Board Director Carey Moreno-Hunt, sharing the impact of Hands4Hope – Youth Making A Difference programs on their and their families lives.

To go along with this year’s Polynesian theme, our “Volcano Island Rescue Bail” participants will pose as castaways on an island with a volcano that is about to erupt. They must raise funds, “Rescue Bail,” in order to be rescued off the island and escape from the impending lava flow. The “Volcano Island castaways” are local community members, alumni, and Board Directors representing areas from Folsom to Placerville, where Hands4Hope – Youth Making A Difference has school-based clubs and after school committees, and performs community outreach.

The Rescue Bail these “castaways” raise supports life-changing programs for our youth and those they serve – and all donations will be matched up to $60,000 thanks to matching donors RDM Positive Impact Foundation, Handler Farms, and Scott and Valerie Hanson.

Additionally, a robust selection of silent auction and raffle items will be available at the event, thanks to the donations of generous businesses and supporters. Auction prizes include trips to Cabo San Lucas and Lake Tahoe, white water rafting, golf packages, a pontoon boat sunset sail, and so much more. Silent auction items will also be available for online bidding by any supporter, including those not able to attend the event, beginning September 13, 2023. Raffle prizes will only be available for event attendees.
