Red Hawk Resort Casino offers two nights of live music to enjoy of this Thanksgiving weekend. Friday night, its one of the area’s most popular rocking bands returning to the El Dorado County venue, Hill Street is set to electrify the stage bar starting at 10 p.m. Saturday, its one of the area’s best known Yacht Rock bands with Ride Captain Ride docking up.
Known for their classic rock and top 40 genres, to the stage bar, Hill Street has been playing classic rock favorites live in the North State for over 10 years. Hill Street also writes much of the music they perform in addition to many popular cover songs. Not so long ago they released their first album “Up Hill Both Ways.”
According to their bio, is a dynamic four-piece cover group that loves the live rock genre. Foreigner, Toto, Santana, Elle King, No Doubt are some of their favorites. Hill Street strives to play every cover song as close to the artist as possible.
On Saturday, Ride Captain Ride will bring the Yacht Rock experience to the Red Hawk stage. This regional group will be playing your favorite soft rock hits from the 70s and and 80s. Beneath the sailing attire, you may recognize the members of this group as they are one of the newest components of Gotcha Covered Music, which has been long known for the band Gotcha Covered, Gotcha Country and others. They offer a diverse catalog of music and Saturday night will surely have you sailing away on the dance floor.
Entertainment starts at 10 p.m. and goes until 2 a.m. on both Friday and Saturday. There is no cover charge for the events at Red Hawk Casino’s stage bar.
