With the strong demand for healthy, locally grown foods and products in Folsom, market promoters and Historic District officials feel there is plenty of demand for the second offering.  It will take place from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. starting this Sunday, Apr. 30 and will be positioned on the 700 block on Sutter Street, which is already closed to traffic on weekends to promote tourism, shopping and dining.

“This will bring some great visitors to our district on Sunday mornings, and it makes sense to utilize the street closure to accommodate it,” said Judy Collinsworth, Executive Director of the Folsom Historic District. “The Saturday market has been so good for this district and the merchants. We are excited to be adding a second one.”

Living Smart was founded by Don and Marie Hall in Carmichael in 2008. Living Smart puts on several markets in the region, you can learn more about each of them at www.ilovemyfarmersmarket.com
