The holiday season ignites in Historic Folsom this weekend but it doesn’t end with the tree lighting and the arrival of Santa. The Historic District welcomes one of its much loved holiday tradition on Sunday, Dec. 8. It’s the 56th Annual Christmas Arts & Crafts Fair will bring hundreds of craft vendors and more to the heart of Folsom, offering another festive experience that promises something for everyone and the opportunity to shop until you drop for those unique holiday gifts or décor you can’t find everywhere else.

Known as one of the longest-standing holiday craft fairs in the region, this event has been delighting attendees for more than five decades. This year’s fair, a juried showcase, will feature over 200 artisan crafters displaying their unique, high-quality, handmade goods. From one-of-a-kind holiday decorations to thoughtfully crafted gifts, this is the perfect opportunity to check off your holiday shopping list while supporting talented artisans.

Food vendors will be on hand with a variety of delicious offerings, while Historic Folsom’s brick-and-mortar shops and restaurants invite visitors to explore their treasures and enjoy the local flavors.

In addition to all of the activity outside, the event brings a boost to merchants in the Historic District as it draws thousands of visitors throughout the day. Merchants up and down Sutter Street will be open for business throughout the day, offering a shopping and dining extravaganza.
