Folsom, El Dorado Hills serve up over 40 bands across five outdoor venues for 2024
Summer is heating up in many ways as of late and free outdoor concerts are no exception. This week marks the opening for two of Folsom’s favorite seasonal concert venues and it’s just the beginning as others kick off their seasons in the weeks ahead in both Folsom and El Dorado Hills.
The first local venue to bring its stage will be the Zittel Family Amphitheater in Historic Folsom which will kick off its 2024 Summer Twilight Concert Series starting this Thursday, June 6. The Historic Folsom venue is known for providing its midweek live music series that allows guests to enjoy great music with friends and family under the stars in the heart of Folsom. All Thursday night concerts are free to attend, guests are urged to bring low-backed chairs that sit close to the ground or picnic blankets and a light jacket for after dark.
The 2024 music series presented by Historic Folsom and Willamette Wineworks this year will included 13 weeks of bands to bring a variety of entertainment genres to local audiences. Events take place every Thursday, with the exception of July 4 where music takes a break to allow for the holiday and the Folsom Pro Rodeo that will be in action that week. Each of the weekly concerts start at 7:30 p.m. and continued for two hours of tunes.
This week the series will open with Adam Aldama and the Aces taking the stage. Aldama is a known crowd pleaser in the Sacramento region and is often known to fill the dance floor multiple times a month at Historic Folsom’s Powerhouse Pub. Aldama is the first of several popular artists slated for the month of June in Historic Folsom. On June 13, longtime Folsom resident and now Nashville recording artist Cynthia Renee returns to the stage she calls home with her full band for a night of rockin’ country that is sure to get you dancing. The June 13 show is the first local performance for Renee after her return from Nashville where she was appearing at the sold out CMA Fest in Nashville along with some of Country Music’s biggest names and rising stars.
The month of June will close out at the Historic Folsom venue with Tom Rigney and Flambeau who brings his amazing rocking bluegrass fiddle talents to the stage on June 20. The Sugar High Band will wrap up the month on June 27 with their first event Historic Folsom stage appearance.

Eight rockin’ nights slated for Folsom’s Palladio
This Friday night, June 7, Folsom’s Palladio will kick off its 2024 Live Music in the Piazza series. This weekly series brings some of the area’s favorite bands to the stage, performing from 7:30-9:30 p.m. on most Friday evenings through August 2.
The series opens this week with Revolution Beat with their well reviewed tibute the Beatles. According to their bio, Revolution Beat consists of four seasoned professionals all with a huge mutual passion for playing the early Beatles music just as heard by putting the phonograph needle down on the vinyl.
The band is a Sacramento based group with members from Elk Grove, Roseville, West Sacramento, Stockton and Cameron Park/Shingle Springs. The songs of Revolution Beat are performed at a quick pace with some songs blended together to keep everyone on their feet and excited during their shows. They are also known to engage with the audience to give them a true feeling of being young, and in some cases young again and having a fun and memorable experience.
The month of June will continue at The Palladio with Peter Morgan on June 14, Granite City 909 on June 21 and Eazy Dub on June 28.

El Dorado Hills Town Center offers 12 weeks of live music
Starting on June 14, the El Dorado Hills Town Center will begin its 12-week series. As in the past, this series will offer music from7-9 p.m. nearly every Thursday starting June 13 through Sept. 5, in the Steven Young Amphitheater.
The Live on the Boulevard series begins with Mania, the Live Beatles Experience next week. One week later will be another popular tribute as Twist on Taylor appears with a Taylor Swift Tribute on June 20. The Boys of Summer will wrap up the opening month on June 20.

Summer of Music Series at Folsom City Park beings June 14
The City of Folsom’s annual Summer of Music Series will begin next Friday. Presented by the Folsom Parks and Recreation District each year, the Summer of Music is a four-night series spanning June and July that takes to the gazebo stage at Folsom City Lions Park, located next to the Folsom Library at 411 Stafford Street in Folsom. The concerts take place from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on their scheduled nights.
The series opens Friday June 14 with Remedy 7 kicking things off with their classic rock sound. Peter Morgan will bring his beloved jazz to the park on June 28 followed by the R&B of Innersoul on July 12 and the rock band Modern Relics on July 26.
I addition to the live music, a number of well-known area food trucks will be on site with plenty of tasty eats and sweets. Pumping Irony will hit the stage starting at 7and will continue to 9 p.m.

Four bands slated for El Dorado Hills Community Services District.
The El Dorado Hills Community Services District has announced its free concert events at El Dorado Hills Community Park beginning on June 14. This free concert series offers shows on 7-9:30 p.m, for two nights in July and another in August.
Department of Rock will be featured in June to open the series followed by Joy of Madness. Garratt Wilkinand The Parrotheads a celebration of Jimmy Buffet will close the series on August 23.

The El Dorado Hills Community Services District music series will also include a season closing event known Summerfest at Community Park, 4-9:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14. Apple Z will perform and guests will also be able to enjoy many family activities, vendor booths, games and much more.
