A long standing tradition that continues to bring a dose of unique holiday magic to generations is back on track for the first of three weekends of December. It’s Santa’s Whistlestop Adventure and it’s sure to take the holiday spirit of little ones off the rails.

Santa’s Whistlestop Adventure gives visitors of all ages the experience of boarding a real-life motor rail car and take a ride down the rails near Willow Creek, nestled just off East Bidwell Street.

After a scenic ride down the rails, the trip makes a stop where little ones will have the opportunity to step off the train to visit a magical stop where they can meet Santa and spend time enjoying holiday activities and enjoying treats and beverages before taking the motor car back to the starting point.

From start to finish, this unique Folsom tradition produces hundreds of smiles on youngsters each year, all thanks to the hard working volunteers of Placerville and Sacramento Valley Railroad Association that keep the history of the rails rolling in the community.
