FOLSOM – All Comics & Collectibles has announced the launch of “Folsom-Con – The Comic Escape,” a new vintage comic book convention set to become a recurring event in Northern California. The inaugural convention will take place on Sunday, October 20, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Folsom Community Center.
Admission to the event is $20, with tickets available on Eventbrite. Organizers recommend purchasing tickets in advance, as the event is expected to sell out.
“This is a dream come true,” said Lanvin Peets, owner of All Comics & Collectibles. “Folsom-Con is about uniting hardcore collectors and casual fans in a space where everyone can appreciate comic books. It’s an opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts, explore incredible vintage comics, and support the local community.”
Peets, who previously worked at A-1 Comics, has fostered a passion for vintage comics and the collecting culture in Sacramento since opening his own business in late 2022. He noted the positive atmosphere among customers and the vibrant local collecting scene as inspiration for Folsom-Con.
In addition to comic conventions, All Comics & Collectibles specializes in online and live-streamed sales of comic books, graphic novels, trading cards, and various collectibles.
