EL DORADO HILLS – Live on the Boulevard has become a signature part of the El Dorado Hills community experience, offering a vibrant mix of music, food, and fellowship each Thursday through mid-September. Residents and visitors are invited to bring lawn chairs, enjoy a bite from local eateries, and soak in the summer vibes at the scenic Town Center venue.
El Dorado Hills is ready to turn up the volume as the beloved Live on the Boulevard summer concert series makes its long-awaited return this Thursday evening at the Town Center Amphitheater. The 2025 season officially kicks off June 11 with a hometown favorite, Island of Black and White, launching what promises to be another exciting summer of free outdoor live music.
This week’s kickoff performance features Island of Black and White, the dynamic five-piece band known for their unique fusion of rock, funk, blues, folk, and reggae. Formed in 2004 in the El Dorado County foothills, IBW has earned a dedicated following throughout Northern California. With a loyal fan base and an infectious stage presence, the band is known for high-energy shows that blend original songs with crowd-pleasing covers—making them the perfect act to ignite the 2025 season.
Themed attire for the night is “Black & White” in honor of the band’s name and vibe, and guests are encouraged to dress the part to add to the festive atmosphere.
The event begins at 7 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m., with amphitheater gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free, but concertgoers can take advantage of an online waitlist feature by visiting the event page HERE on the day of the show.
The waitlist opens at noon each Thursday, and each registered guest may bring up to four people. Attendees should note that all bags must be clear plastic or smaller than 8x6x1, and all beverages must be purchased inside the venue. No outside alcohol, drinks, or coolers are permitted.
Located at 4364 Town Center Blvd, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762, the amphitheater provides a picturesque setting for this family-friendly series, which is supported by local sponsors and food and drink vendors on-site each week.
