Another Folsom resident is tossing their hat in the ring for a seat on Folsom City Council in the upcoming November election.

According to a campaign press release and announcement, Justin Raithel, “a dedicated small business owner, community volunteer, and proven leader, proudly announces his candidacy for Folsom City Council District 2.”

As a founding member of Folsom’s Community Service Day, Raithel has chaired the Steering Committee for the last three years, embodying his steadfast dedication to community improvement. Additionally, he initiated the Neighbors Helping Seniors program, aiding seniors in preparing their homes for winter weather, demonstrating his proactive approach to community service, the announcement continued.  Raithel’s campaign has already been endorsed by Folsom’s Mayor Mike Kozlowski and expects to announce further key endorsements in the weeks ahead.

Raithel’s leadership extends to his role as President of the Rotary Club of Folsom, where he has spearheaded transformative projects to enhance Folsom’s trails and parks. His outstanding contributions were recognized in 2020 when he was named Volunteer of the Year by the Folsom Chamber of Commerce.
