Willamette Wineworks continues its weekly live music series Saturday night, June 29 with Northern California favorite Kevin Marcy taking the stage at the Historic Folsom venue that offers a relaxing atmosphere along with fine wines and small plates to enjoy.
Born into a musical family, Kevin Marcy attended PCPA in Southern California and began playing music with his brothers at a young age. After forming the Marcy Brothers band, Kevin secured record deals with both Warner Brothers and Atlantic Records, yielding a top 40 song and three #1 videos, among other honors.
Touring with the Marcy Brothers, he opened for Johnny and June Carter Cash, Waylon Jennings, George Strait, Merle Haggard, Charlie Rich, Alabama, and Alan Jackson, to name a few. Also a songwriter, Kevin wrote for three major publishing companies in Nashville and recently released a compilation CD of some of the many demos of songs he wrote or co-wrote over the years, called “The Greatest Hits You’ve Never Heard.” His songs range from witty to heartbreaking, and his beautiful baritone voice can bring tears to anyone’s eyes. Now back in California, Kevin performs in smaller venues and at private events, singing his own blend of country, blues and rock to the delight of his fans.
The live music will begin at 6:00 p.m. and continue until 9:00 p.m. Reservation fees for the live music evening are $10, with refunds for wine club members and owners. Admission for the general public will be $10 at the door.More information or reservations visit the Willamette Wineworks’ website or by emailing them at info@willamettewineworks.com.
