If keeping cool and enjoying some live music is two of the items on your to do list Saturday, Red Hawk Casino Resort offers another night of live music tonight with Kirk Matthew and his Los Vaqueros band serving up a night of country music at the casino stage bar.

Born and raised in Northern California and coming from a large family of musicians, Kirk Matthew says, “country music is his jam,” has been on musical journey in which he was influenced by some of country music’s biggest names.

That journey started when Matthew was just six years old when his mother bought him his first guitar and the rest is history as followed influences of Hank Williams Jr. Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Jamey Johnson, Sturgill Simpson, John Mayer and many others.

Matthew loves performing live on stage most of all, where he strives to give his fans the same joy music gives him.

“There is nothing better than experiencing the energy from a crowd that loves your style of music, “ says Matthew.

Entertainment begins at 10 p.m. Saturday night and continues until until 2 a.m. There is no cover charge for the events at Red Hawk Casino’s stage bar.
