Units from the Folsom Fire Department have been dispatched to a water rescue on Lake Natoma Friday afternoon.

At 3:19 pm, Folsom Boat 15 and Boat 35 were dispatched to Lake Natoma near Black Miners Bar for a report of an individual in the water needing assistance.

In addition to the two rescue boat responses, two medic units have been dispatched to assist at the incident.

UPDATE 3:25 pm; Units report there is one victim out of the water and being tended to by medics.

UPDATE 3:38 pm; Units report the victim is ok and not in need of additional assistance.

All responding units have been cleared from the scene with the exception one on Battalion unit.

UDATE 3:48 pm: All units have been officially cleared from the scene. Local agencies warn everyone enjoying the waters this weekend to remember the waters remain colder than usual with excessive under currents that can be dangerous and life jackets are suggested.
