More to Come This Week at Powerhouse
The action doesn’t stop on Thursday, as Powerhouse Entertainment lines up a blend of classic rock, Top 40, and tribute nostalgia starting Friday night and running through Sunday’s Powerhouse of Blues showcase. With multiple acts, multiple stages, and a vibrant atmosphere all weekend long, there’s no better place to get your groove on in Historic Folsom.
The weekend kicks off early Friday with Granite City 909, taking the stage at 7:00 p.m. This seasoned group draws deep from the golden era of rock, with roots in the diverse music scenes of Los Angeles, Lake Tahoe, and South Texas. With a combined 125 years of professional experience among its members, the band recreates the energy and spirit of 1970s rock in a way that’s both authentic and energizing—perfect for those ready to start the weekend with a solid dose of nostalgia.

Later Friday night, Get Lucky Band keeps the party going with a 10:00 p.m. set filled with Top 40 covers and mashups that keep the dance floor packed. Known for blending today’s hits with pop classics in clever arrangements, their performance brings high-energy vibes to round out the night across Powerhouse’s five bars and outdoor DJ patio.
Saturday’s lineup kicks off early with a special afternoon show as Ticket to Ride delivers a tribute to The Beatles starting at 3:00 p.m. A favorite across the region, this tribute act recreates the iconic sounds of the Fab Four using authentic instruments and tight harmonies, performing hits from “Please Please Me” all the way through the rich final works of “Abbey Road.” Their attention to detail, from instruments to vocal style, creates a musical journey that’s both family-friendly and remarkably true to the originals.
That night, the weekend jumps ahead a few decades when Y2K Live takes over the stage at 10:00 p.m., bringing back the throwback hits of the early 2000s. Expect crowd favorites from the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Usher, Blink-182, and more. With two DJs outside, a live band inside, and the venue’s signature hookah and cigar lounge in full swing, Saturday night at Powerhouse is set to be a full-on flashback dance party.

Capping off the weekend, the venue’s popular Sunday series, Powerhouse of Blues, continues at 3:00 p.m. with this week’s featured artist to be announced. Whether it’s gritty guitar riffs or smooth harmonica lines, blues lovers can count on a soulful set from some of the best musicians in the region, all in a relaxed, music-first setting that defines Sundayafternoons at Powerhouse.
Tickets for each show can be purchased online or at the door on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information and to secure your spot, visit www.powerhousepub.com.
