A long standing tradition continued in Folsom Wednesday as soon to graduate seniors from Vista del Lago High School performed the act of “grad walk” to area elementary and middle schools.
The annual grad walk event gives outgoing seniors the opportunity to return to their former elementary and middle schools. Upon their visit, seniors are greeted by the students of each schools, complete with signs recognizing the various seniors who then take time to recognize their former educators that made a difference in their lives growing up.
Schools that welcomed the seniors Thursday included Blanche Sprentz, Empire Oaks, Folsom Hills, Oak Chan and Russell Ranch elementary schools and Folsom Middle School.
Vista del Lago will commence the class of 1023 next Friday evening at Eagle stadium.
