The opportunity for students was part of a joint effort thanks to a cherished partnership with the Harris Center for the Arts and Class Acts! They generously provided free theater access for all students, teachers, and chaperones.

The students entered the venue brimming with excitement, where they received a warm welcome from actors in the lobby. After taking their seats, the Director expressed his enthusiasm for the students’ attendance. The interactive show allowed students to participate by cheering, dancing, and engaging with the actors, creating an atmosphere filled with joy.

“I am grateful for the relationship we have with the Harris Center and hope to continue to bring these types of opportunities to our students for many years to come,” said Andrus.

The partnership between FCUSD, the Harris Center for the Arts, and Class Acts!, actively nurtures creativity and ignites a lasting passion for the performing arts, ensuring that students remain inspired by the magic of theater in the years ahead, according the news release.
