Tonno’s brings it’s Ultiimate Bloody Mary and unique eats to 2nd location on East Bidwell
A longtime Orangevale sports bar and restaurant has expanded with a new location in Folsom. Tonno’s Sports Bar and Grill opened its doors this week at 312 East Bidwell Street.
The second location for the decade old namesake has taken over a location once occupied by Doyle’s Pub and Taproom. The location is in one of Folsom’s oldest existing shopping centers that also houses Handley’s Western Wear, El Dorado Savings and more.
Tonno’s is a family-owned operation and has been a local favorite to those in Orangevale as well as Folsom who have long travelled across the bridge to their Greenback Lane spot. Now, Folsom folks don’t have to travel so far. After a brief remodel, the new spot opened this week.
“We knew we wanted to open another Tonno’s location, and this site kind of fell into our laps,” says co-owner Andy Tonarelli
The establishment maintains the original floorplan and much of the features that were in place when it was Doyle’s. After a few updates and personal touches, the staff is ready for sports fans and others to come enjoy plenty of great eats and spirits.
“The previous owner did a nice remodel recently and it is a beautiful location,” said Tonarelli. “We wanted to add our touch to it.”
The Folsom location has several televisions to catch your favorite game and will feature the popular menu items the Orangevale spot is famous for.
A few mentionables include the “ultimate” Bloody Mary that actually includes a Chimichanga as part of it, along with a variety of burgers, tacos, specialty tots and of course, its popular birria ramen.
According to information online, the Bidwell location opens at 11:30 a.m. daily. They plan to be open until 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 12 a.m. on all other days.
