After much success during the holiday season, Willamette Wineworks has announced it will feature the entertainment of live music weekly at its Historic Folsom venue. Beginning this Saturday and continuing weekly therafter, guests can enjoy entertainment in the tasting room.
“I am so excited to announce that we are going to continue the live music experience for our guests in the new year. It was such a huge hit in December, and is our guests number one request so far this year,” said Carissa Morlan, General Manager for Willamette Wineworks. “I truly am thrilled to continue to make it happen. We know that whether you are joining us on a date, with friends or family, live music elevates the wine experience.”
This Saturday, the featured artist will be Madeline McArthur. McArthur is a local singer/songwriter with a love of acoustic covers and all things Led Zeppelin. She has spent the better part of the past decade collecting 90’s alternative, 80’s pop, and 70’s classic rock to create a mix of homemade acoustic covers for a wide array of audiences. She has played in a number of bands ranging from classic rock tributes to Americana/folk duos, and is currently bringing her solo take on some classics to the Northern California music scene. McArthur is set pick up her guitar and perform Saturday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
For those wanting to secure a seat Saturday, Willamette Wineworks will require a $5 deposit for all seats for table reservations inside. Reservation fees will be refunded for wine clubs members and owners. Admission for general public reservatons will be $5. Following the McArthur’s appearance this Saturday, musician Rick Esterline will close out the month of January next Saturday night, January 27. Additional artists over the next four weeks will include the Love and Honey Duo which is scheduled to perform February 3.
Folsom’s John Voelz is slated to perform on Feb 10. February 17th’s performer has yet to be announced. Dylan Vroom will perform February 24 with Joe Gibbs performing on March 2.
