The wildly popular sequel to Menopause The Musical® promises an evening (or afternoon) of music, comedy, and relatable moments for anyone who has ever experienced “the change.”
With six performances lined up—three evening shows at 7 p.m. and three matinees at 2 p.m.—this show invites audiences to hop aboard for a journey filled with hilarious escapades, catchy parodied hits from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, and a heartfelt exploration of sisterhood and self-discovery.
Tickets are now available through the Harris Center Box Office at (916) 608-6888 or online at HarrisCenter.net. The box office is open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and one hour before each performance.
Following the original show’s massive success—entertaining over 17 million fans worldwide and playing in more than 500 cities—this sequel reunites the beloved characters five years after their first encounter in a department store. Now, they set sail for an uproarious, feel-good adventure on the high seas, tackling hot flashes, mood swings, and memory lapses with humor and heart.
Dubbed by The New York Times as “impossible not to laugh” and praised by The Los Angeles Times as “fresh, funny, and simply terrific,” Menopause The Musical® is the longest-running musical in Las Vegas history, delighting audiences nightly at Harrah’s Hotel and Casino.
Directed by Seth Greenleaf, the sequel boasts a stellar creative team, including Assistant Director Kim Simari and Dramaturg Karie Koppel. The book and lyrics were crafted by Karen Bishko and Jeanette Hopkins, based on the original characters created by Jeanie Linders.
“To those who have been through the change, are going through it now, or love someone who is, may this production bring you as much laughter, support, and fellowship as intended,” said Greenleaf.
The production also features Choreographer Jonathan Stahl, Scenic Designer Sean McClelland, Sound Designer David Lanza, Lighting Designer Jean-Yves Tessiere, assisted by Willow McGuinty, and Music Director Peter Aylin. It is represented by Columbia Artist Theatricals.
