Widely regarded as the world’s most famous ballet, “Swan Lake” tells a hauntingly beautiful story of love, sacrifice and fate. The production follows Prince Siegfried and Odette, a young woman cursed to live as a swan by day and human by night, as their romance unfolds against forces of deception and dark magic. Through its sweeping choreography and emotionally charged music, the ballet explores timeless themes of devotion and destiny that have captivated audiences for generations.

World Ballet Company’s production is staged on a grand scale, featuring 50 professional dancers and more than 150 hand-crafted costumes that bring the classical story to life. From the quiet stillness of moonlit lakes to the glittering elegance of royal palace halls, each scene is designed to transport audiences into the heart of the ballet’s dramatic fairytale world.

A defining feature of this production is the inclusion of a live orchestra, elevating the performance beyond a traditional staged ballet. Tchaikovsky’s unforgettable score is performed live, allowing the music and movement to unfold together in real time, deepening the emotional resonance of each act and enhancing the connection between the dancers and the audience.

The performance runs approximately two hours and 30 minutes, including a 20-minute intermission, and is recommended for audiences ages 5 and older. The production offers an accessible entry point for families and first-time balletgoers while delivering the technical mastery and artistic depth longtime ballet enthusiasts expect.
