The victim’s family has set up a go fund me page to assist with the unexpected medical and funeral costs that are being incurred in the tragedy. As of Wednesday evening, just over $9000 had been raised toward the $20,000 goal the family is hoping to reach.

“Although doctors tried everything they could to save him, inevitably there was nothing that could be done,” reads a statement on the donation page organized by Thomas Walsh. “He has been placed on the donor list and we are grateful to know that others will be saved and he will live on through them.

The accident occurred at approximately 9:17 pm Friday, Aug. 4  near the intersection of Berry Creek Drive and Auburn Folsom Road.  The collision involved two vehicles, the motorcycle ridden by Granger and a sedan. Granger’s motorcycle was severely damaged in the collision that also caused significant damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.

It was reported Granger was unconscious at the time first responders arrived on the scene. He reportedly began communicating with medics at one point during transport. The incident closed down all lanes of Auburn Folsom Road Friday night for approximately four hours for the combined rescue effort and accident investigation. At this time the details of what led up to the collision have not been released by Folsom Police Department.

“Isaiah was a beautiful soul, and he never deserved this. He had a long life and bright future ahead of him. He touched the hearts of many and with that being said, we are all in a horrible state with his passing,” reads the donation page. “His family and loved ones are in a deep state of mourning right now, as anyone could imagine, and we are seeking help with funds to be able to do everything we can to make sure Isaiah gets the proper treatment he deserves in his afterlife.”
