ORANGEVALE – A motorcyclist reportedly died from injuries incurred after crashing into a car in Orangevale Saturday, according to reports from the California Highway Patrol.
The collision took place at approximately 11:15 a.m. near the intersection of Madison Avenue and Blue Oak Drive.
The male rider of the motorcycle was reportedly traveling eastbound on Madison Avenue towards the intersection of Blue Oak at “an extremely high rate of speed,” according to CHP.
A GMC Yukon with three occupants reportedly turned onto Madison Avenue at the intersection when the two collided.
The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and died from his injuries. The occupants of the Yukon were reportedly uninjured.
The collision is under investigation and the victim’s name has been withheld at this time.
