Those who love sleek Italian sports cars, vintage motorcycles, and European scooters have a chance to feast their eyes on a one-of-a-kind collection in Folsom next month. The Historic Murer House Foundation is gearing up to host its 12th Annual Italy on Wheels celebration, a unique gathering of Italian automotive culture.
This year’s event rolls into town on Saturday, May 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on the scenic grounds of the Murer House & Gardens, located at 1125 Joe Murer Court in Historic Folsom. The gathering will feature an array of new and vintage Italian cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and scooters, all on display for enthusiasts and curious visitors alike.
From sleek Ferraris and classic Fiats to timeless Ducati motorcycles and stylish Vespas, Italy on Wheels brings together some of the most iconic Italian vehicles. Attendees will have the chance to get up close and personal with these machines, talk to their owners, and learn what makes each model special.

Admission to the event is free, making it a perfect family outing or weekend stop for car and culture lovers. In addition to the vehicle displays, guests can enjoy pizza by the slice, Italian beer, and sodas available for purchase during the festivities. The Historic Murer House and its surrounding gardens will be open for public tours, and visitors are welcome to try their hand at a round of bocce on the on-site court.
Italy on Wheels continues to grow as a local favorite, offering a blend of rich Italian heritage and local community spirit. Sponsored by The Monk’s Cellar, Orangevale Copy & Print, and Vaneli’s Handcrafted Coffee, the event also supports the educational mission of the Murer House Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the legacy of Italian culture in the region. To learn more about the Murer House Foundation, visit murerhouse.org or call 916-607-3297.
