The music of Motown is set to fill the air at Red Hawk Casino Resort Friday night as Nathan Owens brings his Motown and Soul to the casino stage bar for a solid four hours of music that’s sure to get you busting a move.
Friday’s band is known for the sounds of Motown and soul artists such as The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, The Jackson Five, Sam and Dave, Sly and the Family Stone, Marvin Gaye, Earth, Wind & Fire and many others in this genre.
Described in reviews as a tremendously explosive group both vocally and musically, with striking choreography, the band has opened up for prominent artists including B.B. King, Kool & The Gang, Stevie Wonder, Jay Leno and many others.
Owens and his band are set to take the stage Friday night at 10 pm.
On Saturday, June 24, the theme switches to country music as California Country takes the stage.
California Country is known throughout Northern California for bringing its audience all of their country favorites. Nearly all of their covers have been a #1 radio hit at one time and they make sure all of their music is danceable so there is something for everyone,
California Country takes the stage at 10 pm. Entertainment goes until 2 a.m. on both nights. There is no cover charge for the events at Red Hawk Casino’s stage bar.
