Hundreds from Folsom and the surrounding communities joined with with city leaders and the staff from Choose Folsom Wednesday evening to officially welcome the first medical facility that recently opened its doors in the community South of Highway 50. This facility isn’t for humans, but Folsom Ranch Veterinary Hospital is extremely welcoming to them as they bring their furry friends in for care to the new state of the art facility with a real human touch.
“At Folsom Ranch Veterinary Hospital want to acknowledge a very real emotion; that going to “the vet” can be a stressful event for both you and your pets. With that in mind, our premier, privately-owned hospital was assembled with one goal in mind,” cites the facility that was the brainchild of Dr. John Wu along with four additional partners.“To build and curate an experience that disarms the stress and anxiety typically experienced at a traditional veterinary clinic.”
Upon entering the 6,900-square-foot state-of-the-art facility, clients immediately notice a welcoming difference. The hospital’s team greets its visitors at the door with a smile, facilitates check-ins, and ensures comfortable seating in a calming environment. Complimentary refreshments and interactions with the staff are integral parts of every visit, aiming to provide top-class care for pets while alleviating client concerns.
When he was signing the lease for the site last year and construction got underway, Wu was already well known in the region, with pet clinics in Cameron Park, Stockton, and Chico. All them are known for having an emphasis of both expertise and compassion by every member of their team. With five partners that came together to form the all locally owned Folsom Ranch facility the operation is destined for success as that team is comprised of veterinary professionals with decades of experience and compassion leading an all star team that is ready to serve the community’s veterinary needs seven days a week, even offering evening hours to help those with careers as well as pets in their life.
“We are 5 regular people who banded together to create a privately owned veterinary hospital to help improve access to veterinary care while reducing wait times for those pets needing to be seen. All of our veterinarians are partners in this project and we have a minimum 1 partner on site every day, 7 days a week to ensure our team, clients and patients get the care and attention they deserve, “ shared partner Dustin Noack in a interview prior to Wednesday’s celebration. “Whatever the problem is, one of us has probably seen it and has experience in working the problem. If we haven’t seen it. we have relationships with surrounding specialists to get the best plan together for that pet.”
