Pop sensation Nick Carter will make a highly anticipated stop at the Harris Center for the Arts this Saturday as part of his Who I Am World Tour 2024. The concert marks Carter’s first solo performance in the region in seven years, offering fans a chance to see the multi-talented star up close for a special one-night-only event.

Carter, who rose to fame at just 12 years old as the youngest member of the legendary boy band Backstreet Boys, has enjoyed a 30-year career that spans music, television, film, philanthropy, and even authorship. The Backstreet Boys remain the best-selling boy band in history and one of the world’s top-selling music artists.

The singer launched his solo career in 2002 with the release of Now or Never through Jive Records. The album debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard 200 and achieved Gold certification in the U.S., Japan, and Canada, solidifying Carter’s status as both a boy-band heartthrob and a solo performer. Over the years, he has released three studio albums and maintained a steady presence in pop culture, most recently touring with the Backstreet Boys on their “DNA World Tour” in 2022.

In 2024, Carter rejoined his bandmates for the “Backstreet’s Back at the Beach” concert series in Cancun, but his Who I Am tour focuses on a personal solo journey. Originally scheduled for fall 2023, the tour has expanded into 2024 with successful stops across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and South America. Carter kicked off the second North American leg on Sept. 26 in Carmel, Indiana, with the Folsom performance set for Oct. 19.

At the Harris Center show, Carter will perform songs from his solo catalog, including his latest singles “Never Break My Heart (Not Again),” “Made For Us,” and “Superman.” Fans can also expect Backstreet Boys classics and other personal favorites from Carter’s career.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19. A limited number of tickets are still available through the Harris Center Box Office, which is open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and one hour before showtime. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at (916) 608-6888 or online at HarrisCenter.net. The Harris Center is located at 10 College Parkway, Folsom, CA 95630.
