HISTORIC FOLSOM—Powerhouse Pub closes out November with an eclectic weekend lineup filled with entertainment ranging from interactive dueling pianos to 2000s throwback hits, classic rock favorites, a cabaret-style burlesque showcase, and a Sunday blues revue honoring the roots of the Mississippi Delta. Historic Folsom will be alive with music and performance from Friday through Sunday.
The weekend begins Friday, November 28, at 6:30 p.m. with2 Grand Dueling Pianos Sing Along, a lively and interactive TGIF early show where two piano maestros go head-to-head in a high-energy musical exchange driven entirely by audience requests. Known for blending comedy, fast hands, vocal talent, and spontaneous showmanship, the performers take turns challenging one another with riffs, harmonies, and clever musical twists. Guests are encouraged to submit their favorite songs, making each show a fully unique, unpredictable, and laughter-filled experience.
The nostalgia kicks in Friday at 10 p.m. asY2K Livereturns with a full night of early 2000s favorites. The group delivers high-energy recreations of the era’s biggest hits, taking the dance floor back to the TRL era with songs from Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Blink-182, Smash Mouth, J-Lo, Lil Jon, Usher, Will Smith, and more. Their vibrant stage presence and playful nods to Y2K culture make the show a favorite among longtime fans and new audiences alike.


Saturday’s lineup opens at 3 p.m. on November 29 with theSaturday Afternoon Dance PartyfeaturingDonnie and the Wayrads, known across the region for their spot-on renditions of classic rock anthems. Their wide-ranging setlist spans decades of hits, blending polished musicianship with upbeat arrangements that keep the room moving. Whether it’s ’70s rock or ’90s favorites, Donnie and the Wayrads deliver an afternoon packed with sing-along energy.
At 7 p.m. Saturday, the venue transforms into a shimmering theatrical space asHeart Strings Cabaret – Burlesque/Variety Showtakes the stage. Led by Jean Heart with DJ Rigatony, this bi-monthly showcase brings together Sacramento-area performers for a night of burlesque, music, dance, humor, and variety entertainment. With sparkling costumes, vintage flair, and a lively variety lineup, Heart Strings Cabaret has quickly become one of Powerhouse’s signature specialty events.
Saturday night peaks at 10 p.m. whenThe Spazmaticstake over the stage with their nationally known geek-chic 80s spectacle. With an origin story involving an infamous 1983 String Theory bet gone sideways, The Spazmatics lean heavily into their iconic nerd persona—bow ties, taped glasses, and all—delivering a mix of explosive stage antics and high-level musicianship.

Their show blends 80s new wave, pop, rock, and dance hits into a full-throttle party that’s earned them a massive fanbase nationwide.And for those hoping to join the fun, Powerhouse notes that if online tickets sell out, additional tickets will still be available at the door.
The weekend wraps Sunday, November 30, at 3 p.m. withShades of Blue, headliningPowerhouse of Blueswith a Great American Rockin’ Blues Revue. Inspired by the Mississippi Delta’s pivotal role in the creation of the blues, the band pays homage to legends such as Robert Johnson, Cream, B.B. King, Albert King, and Freddie King. Their immersive tribute includes mash-ups like Johnson’s “Crossroads” paired with Cream’s iconic rock version, as well as a “Three Kings” medley featuring “The Thrill Is Gone,” “Born Under a Bad Sign,” and “Goin’ Down.”

The set also includes acclaimed classics such as “Whipping Post,” “Back Door Man,” “Good Morning Little School Girl,” “I Put a Spell on You,” “Ain’t Superstitious,” and “Who Do You Love.” Shades of Blue blends reverence, edge, and high-octane performance to close the weekend with soul and power.
