Folsom Police have arrested 22-year old man suspected of being involved in a Folsom robbery one day earlier.
Folsom Police officers responded to a report of burglary in the 1100 block of Sibley Street on day earlier after it was reported the suspect made threats to harm the female victim when he confronted her and slashed her vehicle’s tires when he left the residence.
The suspect was known to the victim and their identity was provided to detectives. The suspect was also a known gang member and probationer.
The police department confirmed detectives tracked the suspect to an area in Rancho Cordova and contacted the Rancho Cordova Police Department regarding an additional assault with a deadly weapon investigation involving the same individual.
According to a report by the Folsom Police Department, Delano Lamont Burgess, 22, was located at an apartment complex in the 3000 block of Data Drive in Rancho Cordova and taken into custody with the assistance of the Rancho Cordova Police Department.
Burgess was faces charges with criminal threats, felony burglary, felony vandalism and probation violation. Burgess remains in custody at the Sacramento County Main Jail and is ineligible for bail.
