Summertime fun continues in style this  Thursday in Historic Folsom, as the Folsom Historic District Association (FHDA) Summer Twilight Concert series lights up the Zittel Family Amphitheater. The event is one of only three more weeks of live music under the promotion of the FHDA that continues into early September This week it’s the fashionable and talents Plaid City taking the stage making their Summer Twilight Concert series debut.

Plaid City is cover band featuring Jason Weeks that is filling dance floors in Northern California. Why a they called Plaid City?  It’s pretty simple, when rhey show up, they wear plaid and the they play rock n’ roll. “It’s the easiest gimmick in show business,” the band cites in their promotional materials.

Plaid City takes you back to the 90’s with grunge and alternative jams, the 80’s with smash singles and one-hit-wonders, the 70’s with timeless classic rock bangers and more. If you want to hold your drink high and belt along to some country songs? They’ve got you covered. Would some hip-hop get you to the dance floor? Say no more, Plaid City offers something for just about everyone and every genre.

The 2024 music series presented by Historic Folsom Station and Willamette Wineworks with a number of supporting sponsors that make it all possible. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and continues for two hours.
