Do you know when to hold them and when to fold them? Do you like the idea of live music and a delicious buffet dinner? And do you like the opportunity to help underserved area residents get the training they need to launch a career in construction? Then the fourth-annual Poker Tournament and Games sponsored by the North State Building Industry Foundation https://www.biaworkforce.com is the ace up your sleeve!

Besides poker, there will also be a silent auction and wine pull, a cigar and Scotch bar, cornhole, a photo booth, live music, a buffet dinner and outstanding networking opportunities for anyone working in the homebuilding industry.

The event will take place on Friday, August 11, from 5-9 p.m. (poker begins at 6 p.m.) at the Whitney Oaks Golf Club in Rocklin. Poker tournament tickets are $75 while game and food tickets cost just $50. All proceeds will benefit the Foundation, a 501 c 3 charity that has worked with residents in the greater Sacramento area since 2007 to learn the skills needed to begin a career in homebuilding. The Foundation’s programs provide opportunities for economic mobility and to ease the housing crisis by training the workforce of tomorrow.
