Registered voters across Sacramento County should be receiving their vote by mail ballots in their mail boxes this week for the 2024 Primary Election. Election Day is Tuesday, March 5 but voters can return their ballots by mail or drop them off at various ballot drop box locations that have opened this week. 

In the city limits of Folsom, the following are where residents can find official ballot drop boxes.

Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, closed Monday, Feb. 19 (Presidents’ Day)
Election Day hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Folsom Public Library

Hours: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays

Days and operation for access to the official ballot drop boxes vary and can be found on the Sacramento County Elections website as well.

No postage is necessary for voters returning their ballots by U.S. Mail using the pink Vote by Mail envelope. In accordance with California Election Code 14422 and California Code of Regulations 20142, Sacramento County will be picking up voted ballots at all Vote Center locations between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Election Day.
