Saturday night headliner follows Rockin Souls; Shane Dwight headlines Powerhouse of Blues Sunday
A longtime favorite band is coming back to Historic Folsom as Powerhouse Entertainment presents the Wonderbread 5 on the iconic stage of the Powerhouse Pub Saturday night. The return of this energetic group is one of three different acts to take the stage at Powerhouse over the weekend.
Wonderbread 5 describes themselves as a group of neighborhood kids who stayed together over the years, best pals who still play for the fun and thrill of it. With over-the-top performances that engage the audience and often make them part of the show, no two Wonderbread 5 concerts are the same, the band cites. Performing a never-ending stream of new and up-to-date material, while always remembering the party anthems from their youth, their long list of repeat clients is a testament to their longevity. A setlist from the Wonderbread 5 will take you down paths unimaginable to most bands, from the latest hits of this week to classic hits from the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and beyond. Wonderbread 5 delivers rock and dance hits throughout their sets and keeps the dance floor packed all night long. Their strength is in diversity, appealing to a broad range of audiences. Traveling far and wide as one of the most in-demand dance bands for nightclubs, corporate events, weddings, social events, fundraisers, and festivals, the Wonderbread 5 carry their party band crown around the globe. No matter where or when you need them, they are ready to party and aim to please.
The band consists of Chris Adams (Keyboards & Vocals), Jeffrey Fletcher (Vocals), John McDill (Bass & Vocals), Tommy Rickard (Drums & Vocals), and Michael Taylor (Guitar & Vocals). The Wonderbread 5 takes the stage at 10:00 p.m. Saturday night. Tickets are $20 online at www.powerhousepub.com or at the door unless it sells out by showtime.
