From arts and entertainment to educational workshops and family fun, the coming weeks are brimming with opportunities to explore, learn, and connect. Here’s a roundup of some of the happening ahead to check out across the city.

Tuesday, June 17: Stories, Books, and Board Games
Kick off the week with Spanish Bilingual Storytime at the Rancho Cordova Library from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Book lovers can join the Adult Book Club: Mystery at 3 p.m., and the evening wraps up with Pride Board Game Night from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., all at the Rancho Cordova Library.

Wednesday, June 18: Bees, Books, and Botanicals
Start the day with the Beekeeping Basics Series at Soil Born Farms from 7 to 9 a.m. Explore & Learn returns to the Rancho Cordova Library at 10:30 a.m., followed by an evening class on Herbs for Digestive Support from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Soil Born Farms.

Friday, June 20: Luncheon, Movies, and More
Celebrate National Selfie Day at the Neil Orchard Senior Activities Center from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. At the Rancho Cordova Library, enjoy Family Storytime at 10:30 a.m. and Family Fun: Bingo at 1:30 p.m. Over lunch, reserve your spot for the Rancho Cordova Luncheon with CA Senator Roger Niello at City Hall from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cool down at Family Swim Night at Rosemont High School Pool from 3 to 7 p.m. Then, choose between the Concert at the MACC: Sounds of Selena at 7 p.m. or the Friday Moonlight Movie: Space Jam at Village Green Park starting at 7:45 p.m.

Saturday, June 21: Fitness and Family Fun
Nature lovers can start their morning with a Bird Walk at 8 a.m., Yoga Fest at Village Green Park at 8 a.m., or Yoga on the Farm at 8:30 a.m. Continue with Guerilla Gardening and a workshop on Peppers & Tomatoes. Support a great cause at the School’s Out Food Drive, then visit the Open Art Drop-in Session at the MACC. End your day getting messy at Mess Fest 2025 at the Sacramento Children’s Museum.

Friday, June 27 – Saturday, June 28: Movies, Wild Creatures, and Grand Openings
Friday’s highlights include Family Storytime, a Hot Dog & Bingo FundraiserFamily Fun: Raft Engineering, and the Friday Moonlight Movie: Turbo at Village Green Park. On Saturday, take part in Yoga on the Farm or bring the kids to Lil’ Sprouts in the Garden. Rancho Cordova celebrates its newest outdoor space with the Exploration Park Grand Openingat 10 a.m., followed by an educational animal presentation, Wild Things, at the Library from 2 to 3 p.m.

Ongoing Events You Shouldn’t Miss
Rancho Cordova’s Barrel District offers a rotating calendar of events at the city’s breweries, distillery, wine bar, and meadery, including trivia nights, bingo, and live music.

Soil Born Farms is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for produce, nursery shopping, and Phoebe’s Tea & Snack Bar.

The Rancho Cordova Certified Farmers’ Market at Sunrise Station is also open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. with fresh produce, baked goods, hot meals, and more.

The Free Summer Lunch Program at the Rancho Cordova Library continues through August 8, serving meals to kids and teens Tuesdays through Fridays from 12 to 1 p.m.

The Rancho Cordova Arts Members Show is on display at the MACC through June 21.

City Hall’s Art Exhibit – “It’s All About Me!” runs through July 25 and features self-expression-themed artwork from local creatives.
