Willamette Wineworks continues its weekly live music series this Saturday night. This week, its local artist Randy Sykes taking center stage at the Historic Folsom venue that offers a relaxing atmosphere along with fine wines and small plates to enjoy.

According to his music bio, Sykes has always enjoyed acoustic-style, singer-songwriter music, as well as southern rock. Having been one of the lead singers in a popular local band, he understands the importance of both background music and dance songs.

Sykes notes that recently, he is loving the use of digital equipment and guitar effects, such as looper and a harmonizer, to create a rhythmical sound similar to that of a band. The subtle influence of the bass and drums can be felt in his music. Randy loves playing some of the greats, such as Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Eagles, Van Morrison, Jimmy Buffett, etc., but his playlist also includes contemporary artists, such as Jason Moraz, Bruno Mars, and more.

The live music will begin at 5:30 p.m. and continue until 7:30 p.m. Reservation fees for the live music evening are $5, with refunds for wine club members and owners. Admission for the general public will be $5 at the door.
