Red Hawk Resort + Casino has announced the return of its annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, a solemn and powerful tribute to the brave first responders who answered the call on September 11, 2001.

The event will take place Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, in the resort’s parking garage, where firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMTs, and other first responder personnel will climb in remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Registration begins at 7 a.m., with the climb officially starting at 8 a.m.

The purpose of the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb is to honor the legacy of 9/11 responders and reflect on their extraordinary courage through a symbolic stair climb. Organizers emphasize that the event serves as both a personal and communal act of remembrance, uniting first responders in a shared physical challenge that symbolizes the journey, camaraderie, and resilience of all who stood and served. Participants ascend side by side, embodying the spirit of solidarity that defined the response on that tragic day.
