No Fourth on the Field at Sutter Health Park event for 2025; postgame fireworks still planned
Fans who have looked forward to “Fourth on the Field” at Sutter Health Park should note that the popular Independence Day event will not be held in 2025. According to the River Cats organization, the stadium is undergoing upgrades to accommodate the Oakland A’s affiliate team starting next season. These renovations—aligned with the A’s prepped tenancy—significantly impact scheduling and facilities, leading organizers to cancel the 2025 fireworks night. Attendees should still check venue announcements for 2026 plans and enjoy nearby alternative shows this year. Read more on the stadium’s official announcement here.
